Fraser's Hill!

First thing I recall about the trip is the feeling of vomiting during the journey to the east and to the west (going Pahang and back to KL, haha) in the van... oo... feel bad... turned here.. turned there.. dizzy..

Finally we were there, with all of our faces paled. We met colleagues from Singapore and Penang finally. Ok, first activity with groups divided - CSI crime. We turned into FBI investigating a case of a raped and murdered girl. Sigh.. tough.. We couldn't solve any clue at all until the final 5 minutes, suddenly 3 answers found, haha.. This made our position to be 2nd out of 5 last minutely.

At first, the instructor already told us that the last group will be eating "Milo" with worms, furs.. And finally, Group 3 was the last, where their group name was "sure eat"... haha.. but cheh.. the instructor took out a bowl which contained garlics, onions and chillies. What a healthy meal.. After they had the bowl of healthy meal, no one dare to talk to them.. wanted them to shut their mouths..

Second game, race. Nothing much to say because we were the last ;p

Third game, memory game. All of us had to run up and down to jot down the number and description of the map of Genting Theme Park. Forgotten the particular standing but finally we were 4th. First, second and third places' groups got a big big hamper each, which are then distributed among us, and mostly are in our office now, haha..

First day, one of the apartment became small Genting, and it was the noisiest room throughout Fraser's Hill. There was 2 tables, poker and 3-person mahjong. With a 'si fu' beside me teaching me swimming dry water and fly here fly there (joker in mahjong), finally I won RM39 in 1 hour plus.. haha..

Night times were our presentation of products. Nothing much to say because all are technical stuffs, haha..

For conclusion, if anyone of you plans to go to Fraser's Hill, for me I think.. better cancel the plan unless you have poker and mahjong, haha..

Yeah!!

21st July 2007, Saturday. A tension day for graduates and lecturers of KBU has come. At 9am in the morning, 20 over to-be-graduated students gathered in the conference room. Suddenly, 3 mat salleh appeared in front of us, my heart was like.. bum bum, bum bum... I was telling myself: wei.. relax.. relax.. re....lll....aa...xxx.......... ok, relaxed.

People went in and came out, went in and came out, the number of students were getting lesser and lesser, finally.. my turn.. ok, let it be.. let it be..

"I'm not from NTU nor from KBU, I'm just here to access you, so, just relax yourself", the external examiner said. "Now, just tell me about your project, what you have done, what your project is about, what problem you have met, and how you solved the problem."

Ok, I started to talk. Tik tok tik tok tik tok tik tok tik tok.... finished talking. "Ok, tell me your opinion about the lecturers, what do you feel about their teaching method?" I started to talk. Tik tok tik tok tik tok... "Do you have any question to ask?" "Erm.. how did I perform?" "Well I can't tell you this for now, you'll have to wait until about 1 o'clock, then you'll know." Ok..

After lunch, the lecturers' office was getting more and more crowded. Tik tok tik tok tik tok tik tok... 2 pm. Tik tok tik tok tik tok.. 2.30.. Yi ek.. the door was opened. The lecturers were surprised to see so many people waiting. Bum bum, bum bum, bum bum... I started to feel nervous again. One by one we went into a room, I was the second to go in.

"You ar.. 1st la," "Ha? 1st class ar? yes!!" Then I jumped out from the room, smiling wide.. Yeah!!

Finally, I'm working.. after few years of studies.. I was once thinking of furthering studies in UK for master. However, once I get to know the fees, I stepped three steps behind, so expensive... Wen Ching, I have no chance to dip in salty sea with you..

I'm working now as sales & application engineer. Many people are curious, wondering why I choose to involve in sales right after my engineering course. The answer.. is.. who guess is right will have no prize..

Ding!! Because I prefer result-orientated jobs, means.. sales. Since I am with technical background and I don't feel like leaving technical knowledge too early.. then I choose to become sales engineer, is that simple, bingo!

Colleagues here are nice.. easy-going... General manager cum my sales trainer, teaches me lots of things, from sales to life.. A small company, where everyone can get together, eat together, talk together, laugh together.. Looking forward to the company trip next week in Fraser's Hill, cool!! I'll post again when I'm back from Fraser's Hill ya!!

Redang!!

No matter what, I think I'm a bit tanned coming back from Redang, especially my shoulders. This is normal what.. Those days the weather was so sunny.. but not humid at all, I couldn't sweat!!

Anyhow, it was a really nice trip, along with Kok Wei, college gang gang and Ken's gang gang. The first picture was taken by Kok Hoe when we were searching for breakfast in Kuala Terengganu. What a 'peace' place.. Peace until no shop is open, unoccupied parking can be seen anywhere, what a weekday.. If KL were like this, no way!! Not happening at all!! Finally, we found a 'mamak' stall with a Malay woman preparing nasi lemak and other nasi, which I couldn't recall their names. Ok, eaten, then walked back to the temporary hotel to wait for the ferry.

Second picture.. we were on the Redang's beach!! So beautiful.. sand is soft and white.. sea is as blue as the sky.. then I was secretly shot by someone, but quite nice also (hehe..) Our room.. room sweet room.. is too sweet until ants are on the bed, beside pillow some more (omg..) don't worry, not many but.. one or two in a while, so Kok Wei and I were forced to be cruel (sorry ya..)
Ok, not forgotten the snorkeling trip. Of course, no photo was taken as none of us have a water-proof camera. So, let me just describe in words. As usual, the sea is salty, the mask is foggy, and the sky is sunny, haha.. Ok, other than that, the corals are pretty, and the fish is scary when I was in between them, haha.. Anyway, we did enjoy being in the sea, nice!

At night, we had a walk on the beach until we reached the mo mo cha 'shop'. No more Richie and Sammy, but just the pink building with a lighty love. Since it is a big love, of course Kok Wei and I would not miss out the opportunity to take a sweet picture.. another 'funny' picture taken with Kok Wei and An Lui with the bodies of 3 ma lat lou playing guitar, pretending that we were Richie, Ah Cow and another short guy (please tell me who he is).

Well, another day, Hu Loon became the victim in the sand, he must be regretful for volunteering to be buried, haha.. The final result designed by our fellow classmates was: a man buried with only his head was visible, with two boobs (which were larger than any ladies' on the beach), and one small banana (which he agreed that it was the size) between his legs. This design is so attractive that everyone who passed by would laugh at him, we made it!!

Finally, we took a big group photo, and the movie of life in Redang we've experienced will be recorded in.. our memory.

I'm Back....

Wow... such a long time I haven't posted a blog... Before this I felt I had nothing much to write, it was just a Chinese New Year, 3 weeks holiday, and now it's over in just a blink. Chinese New Year... as usual, visiting relatives...friends... Gong Hei Fatt Choi... Gong Xi Fa Cai... the feeling... not that anticipant compared to last time when I was a little girl... however, I still had a happy Chinese New Year and a holiday, it's because I had the chance to know Kok Wei's family and relatives, and enjoy every moment I spent with him. This is the holiday I had been longing for, it's the time when I can temporarily forget all the assignments... exams... Yet, I am about to face up to reality, continue with sem 2 of Year 2. Then there will be a 3 months holiday, shock!

During this holiday, I watched only one movie with Kok Wei in cinema, Memoirs of Geisha. It's really a nice movie, describing a Geisha's life. Besides Zhang ZiYi, I like Gong Li in the movie very much, a coquettish Geisha.

Haha... unbelievable... we had a primary school 6A class gathering in Mid Valley... but only 6 went T_T. However we really enjoyed ourselves in the gathering, talked about old friends... teachers... laughing here and there... nice... our old friend, Xiu Qi was about to go Australia to study, so, was this gathering a little farewell for our fellow classmate? Haha.. I think so... but later on there will be another gathering at Steven's Corner, hope there will be more old friends to meet, looking forward to meet u guys!

Tense... relax relax!

Oops, now I'm really get addicted to take a "short" nap in the afternoon, sigh... can someone tell me... why is the afternoon nap so... so... comfortable... if I plan to sleep for 1 hour, haha!! It will never happen to me, unless I have exam by next day or homeworks await me. If not, haha... Although I opened my eyes big big... looking at the clock, thinking... sleep for a while more la, no problem wat, ok no problem, haha... then fell asleep again ve...ry soon. Isch, how nice if night time I can fall asleep so fast also... don't know why? Maybe during the class I used too much brain cells to learn and digest all those formulas... equations... Fourier Series... isch! That Fourier Series, I couldn't understand it at all... He knows me but I don't know him... -_-" It's ok, be patient, I will know and understand you as soon as possible.

Sigh... Malaysian studies... what the... I have been forced to open back Form 5 History text book... T_T Independance at Sabah and Sarawak... haha... but thinking of that topic, I recalled my Sentosa friend, Alan Lee, because in Form 2, our group acted the process of struggling for independance in Sarawak, with all those Rentap... and another British guy whose name was Alan Lee also! haha... so, our Alan Lee just acted as Alan Lee la, haha... it's so fun to think back those memorable time to spend with whole gang of friends, it was so relaxing...

Back to reality, tense... sigh, so I just find some other things to do besides studying la, which is... piano! But I'm not a real pianist, I just play and learn myself just for fun, searched for those Final Fantasy's songs and play, but not me to search, it's my brother to search, but... most of the pieces he searched have been filtered out by me... this 1 not nice, that 1 too long, this too dull, that too... haha! At last, I have only 3 Final Fantasy's songs to play now, plus a classical song by Debussy, good enough la... because I'm not side reader... I play without flipping pieces... hehe, now wanna learn a new 1 from Yanni, nice and easy... aiks, but playing piano also quite tiring, especially those parts where I have to blast the piano off, haha... my brother always says that I'm very tense... finger tense, shoulder tense, arm tense... blah blah... what to do... if I'm not tense then cannot play the climax strong enough, but I think I am improving myself day by day, just be patient la! But sometimes my brother also said that, maybe his own requirement is too high, because his idols are all those real pianist... Yundi, Horowitz, Kissin... of course I' m not good compared to them la... -_-" just try my best to play la, gambateh!

Stepping into Year 2, what a tough year... T_T
Sigh... 3 weeks of holiday is over and now all of us have to prepare ourselves to face whole bunch of assignments, laboratories... sigh... but sighing so much is useless, haha... just do my best la! But what I'm looking forward is the industrial training, but not so soon... it will be after my Year 2, around July I think, will be trained for 3 months... oh, still long way to go, now just concentrate in my Year 2 study 1st la, oh ya, lots of projects to do too, just hope that I can complete them successfully la, oops, is we... because we are in group... I'm wondering... if we are not in groups, then our lecturers will be suffering, because if we do work individually, gosh... 70 of us... how many eyes could the lecturers have to access all of them... haha... :p No matter what, just wanna wish me good luck, haha... and good luck for all of you too no matter what you are doing, and of course... wanna wish her all the best in UK... Wen Ching, we will always support you, no matter how far apart we are... oo, lots of grandma's stories, ok la, continue next time, take care to all of you and have a nice day!!
